In memory of William O. Nay
Born August 12, 1915 in San Francisco, Ca
Died December 10, 2002 in Petaluma, CA.

We'll all miss this very special person that many of us have known for years.
William to many but Bill to those of us who were lucky enough to have had the pleasure of knowing him. Bill has always been involved in Racing or at least for the many years that I had known him, we met sometime around 1984 if my memory serves me right. He was very involved in the Sports Car Club of America racing scene and was a great help in getting my road racing career off the ground. He was always there when you needed that little something that you just couldn't find. He was a friend of many and everyone who knew him. I hadn't seen Bill in many years and just this past July I made it to the Hoopa hillclimb and to my surprise he was there with his son Bill and a Lola 340 club formula ford that he had been working on for many years. To my surprise Bill offered me a ride and it was my great pleasure to accept. It had been many years since I had been behind the wheel of a FF but it was like riding a bike; you just never forget. The day was a very successful one for me as I was able to capture 1st place in the class. Little did I know that that would be the last time that I would have the privilege of seeing Bill but for me the memory will not be forgotten...

MUST READ FIRST !!!!
Watch your screen closely

This is a car commercial from somewhere in Europe. When they finished
filming the ad, the people who made it noticed something moving along the
side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. If you have speakers, you can
lightly hear a strange whooshing sound as the mist goes by, but its faint so
turn up your speakers and listen carefully. The ad was never put on TV
because the unexplained ghostly phenomenon frightened the production team
out of their wits.

Watch it, and about halfway look and you will see the white mist crossing in
front of the car by following it along the road ......Spooky!
